I have read some VERY good feedback on the Kindle from beta testers and people who own them. People say it feels good in the hand, is easy to hold with one hand and (if possible) feels as good in the hand as a book. I too am a book person, so I don't plan to buy one at this point. However, I won't rule it out for the future. I just like the way books smell and feel - after reading for about a million years, I am stuck in my ways. The Kindle supports ONLY Kindle-format ebooks sold by Amazon.com, no PDFs or any other format. It's been getting mixed reviews, mostly negative. I'm a hard-core bibliophile and a regular Amazon.com shopper, but I am not not NOT going to be getting a Kindle.
