Do these people …
Do these people know that it can’t be possible to eliminate the paper books industry active worldwide since millenniums ago?
Also, do these people know that many, many, many people, far more than those interested, will never look at new technology with an eye of interest?

for someone like me …
for someone like me who doesnt really like the whole drive to the library spend hours looking for a book and realizing the dont have it and having to wait for the book i want, this seems like an excellent idea. I read about this, and it seems finaminal. But you would still have the classic library of course. Once again, I like this idea. Thats just one girl’s opinion though.

Yes, they know. …
Yes, they know. They can make money off the other ones.

Unfortunately, …
Unfortunately, their book selection is absolute rubbish. Every book I want to have on me at all times isn’t available, and after talking to an Amazon rep, many of them may never be available due to copyright issues.
The Kindle has issues. Enough issues to really put me off from owning one (having used it for several hours in a test run). I can’t consider dropping this much money on something that just doesn’t meet basic expectations I have.

Sorry…did you …
Sorry…did you just call me an idiot? are you 11 years old? Do you know anything about marketing, social studies and the user experience? You have got to be kidding me. You obviously know nothing about the Kindle revenue….Clown.
Do some research and try again.

Your are an idiot …
Your are an idiot counterstryke why must I pay for the media to use other items they are selling? Without it you cannot use Amazon products like ebooks, periodicals or magazines etc. Computers are different as it uses softwares not from one company alone.

Um…I don’t think …
Um…I don’t think so. This is fantastic. Think of it like you buying a computer and then having to buy software, a TV with Movie channels, a cellphone with OTA applications, iPod with iTunes, a gym membership and extra supplements.
This is just business as usual.

Oh my God! What will be the next new technology? The portable toilet?
November 8th, 2008 at 9:23 am
Yes an idiot and …
Yes an idiot and also a sucker! Amazon make this inferior B/W product for pennies in China and sell you suckers for hundreds and on top of that sell you items to use on it again. You don’t need to do research, marketing, or social studies. You need some common sense.
November 8th, 2008 at 9:23 am
Please provide some …
Please provide some links or references where this device sells for ‘pennies’ in China.
BTW: I’m going to have so much fun making you look stupid.
P.S. Why do consumers not need to do research on marketing and social studies?
