    The Sony reader …
    The Sony reader won’t do color, just black and white and grey. If they are scans it should work fine. It can have trouble with enlargements. I downloaded some pdfs from Google Books (which are scanned older books) and it read it fine. I could not enlarge it as much as other books, but I could still enlarge it.

    In the past, the pdfs stunk for the Sony Reader. With the new firmware upgrade, it reads them beautifully. The book downloaded from overdrive is pdf and you can see the result. In the past, I would have said no, but now, it works great.
