E Book Readers – Elonex ebook Review
A UK company Elonex International have launched a 6 inch eBook Reader onto the UK market. Elonex are partnering with the bookshop chain Borders UK who will be the sole marketers for the new product.
The Elonex eBook comes with 100 all time classics preloaded and is compatible with the free Adobe Digital Editions software which will download and protect ebook purchases. Borders UK have over 45,000 ebook titles available for download for the Elonex.
Like the Amazon Kindle the Elonex can display the pages either in portrait or landscape views.
The Elonex eBook is the first Elonex product to carry the Green Tick Certification to demonstrate that it is both an eco-friendly product and that environmental issues have been taken into account at every step of the design stage.
The use of eBook Readers is low impact because unlike printed books, almost no natural resources are used in their production. The eBook is also RoHS certified to show that absolutely no hazardous materials are used in its manufacture. By reading eBooks you are helping to reduce the strain on the world’s rainforests.

The Elonex eBook is available from Borders UK stores nationwide (UK) priced at £189 and includes 100 free eBooks, a free Mains charger and data cable. An optional eBook Accessory Pack is available for £29 and includes a luxury leather eBook case and a 4GB expansion card allowing up to 8000 eBooks to be stored.
