So if I want to put an ebook from my computer onto the Kindle I can d it direct with a cable without paying any money for it?
This is one of the things that has stopped me getting a Kindle, the idea that I can’t read the mass of books I already have on my hard drive.

Actually, you can get personal content on the Kindle for free by syncing with a computer. Also, the Kindle has a keyboard, search, note taking, internet access, dictionary, wikipedia…..all features the Sony Reader sdoesn’t have. Also the Sony Reader wasn’t released 6 weeks ago…it was released last year….the new verson was released 6 weeks ago.
