I wouldn’t want an ebook reader to become that realistic.. I’d prefer an immediate pageswap over one like here..

simulating weakness of physical medium onto a digital one IMHO is something bordering to stupidity. even translating paper layout into similarly arranged digital one shouldn’t be done. instead, we should exploit the flexibility offered by digital media to the fullness by creating intuitive, responsive and enabling interfaces.

It would seem that the graphic engine required to make it look like the page is turning would be a lot. But this would be a great idea for those that want the look and feel of a traditional book.
